Lavender Banana bread

1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of butter room temperature
2 large eggs beaten
3 ripe bananas mashed
3/4 all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp Mohr Lavender Please extract
1 TBSP ground lavender

2 cups of walnut halves or 1 1/2 cup of rolled oats

Preheat oven to 350F. Coat loaf pan with cooking spray or parchment paper.

With an electric mixer beat sugar and butter until combined. Add the mashed bananas, eggs, lavender extract and ground lavender. In a separate bowl blend the flours, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, do not over mix. With a spatula stir in the walnuts or oats. Pour into the prepared loaf pan. Bake 50-60min. or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Check after 30 min. and cover with foil if top is getting brown.
